Sri Sathya Sai values: Truth, Right Conduct, Peace, Love, Non-Violence

Sri Sathya Sai Center of Tri-Valley

Region 7Sri Sathya Sai International Organization, USA

How We Come Together

Our Programs

Devotion, education, and service: traditionally the three wings of every Sai Center. One purpose: love in action.

Devotion

Every Sunday morning we gather to still the mind and open the heart. All are welcome, regardless of background or experience.

Meditation

We begin in silence: a short light meditation to settle the mind.

Devotional Singing (Bhajans)

An hour of bhajans and songs from many traditions, with words provided; listening is plenty.

Festivals

The Global Akhand Bhajan, Sai Baba's birthday, and festivals of all faiths through the year.

Bhajan is the process of singing your prayers to God, praising His glory and compassion, and pleading that He may fill you with His Grace.

Education

Learning for every age, built on the five human values.

Sai Spiritual Education (SSE)

Values-based classes for children, K-12: stories, songs, role play, and silent sitting.

Study Circle for Adults

Practical discussion of the teachings: applying spirituality to everyday life.

Sai Parenting

A community of parents applying Sai principles to raising children.

Bal Vikas is the primary basis of the dharma movement. If children are shaped into good human beings, the family, society, and the nation will be transformed.

Service

Selfless service is love in action. Projects run through the month and are open to all ages.

Community Meals

Cooking and sharing dinner with the residents of Goodness Village, a supportive tiny-home community in Livermore.

Sandwich Service

Sandwiches for neighbors in need, prepared monthly by SSE children and members.

Tutoring

Free tutoring for local school students.

Caroling at Nursing Homes

Singing with elders through the holiday season.

Enviro Care

Tree planting, park cleanups, and striving toward zero waste: reducing, reusing, and recycling so nothing needs to reach a landfill.

The hands that serve are holier than the lips that pray.

The weekly schedule and details of the programs under each wing are published on the Schedule & Announcements page.
